CASEY

“Casey” is a 28-year-old professional musical theatre singer. She studied vocal performance in college, and was trained in classical and contemporary vocal performance, which included a heavy emphasis on breathing technique. She has a strong connection through her first and second passages, but she tends to overblow and oversupport at the top of her chest voice, at the top of her first passage, and throughout her second passage, especially when belting.

For example, in the song “My Days” (The Notebook), she tends to sound both weighty and lacking in clarity/ring.
